EMILY JENNE IS…
.. an artist and writer based in Lower Manhattan. She has been described as “terrifyingly stylish” but prefers likenesses to Dorothy Parker. She did her time studying printmaking at The Rhode Island School of Design and since moving to New York has worked across mediums of sculpture, bookmaking, film, drawing, and most recently gum bichromate photography. Color intimidates her and she works exclusively in black and white.
She misses her motorcycle ‘Sweet Thing’ who resides in France, where she is training to become a glider pilot. She is a disc jockey with passionate feelings about Rudy Vallée, an enthusiastic amateur archer, and not a bad shot.
She enjoys dancing, the smell of toxic art chemicals and writing short biographies of herself in the third person.
